Aquatic Environmental Initiative
Aquatic Environmental Initiative documents, quantifies and educates the public on the dangers of micro-plastic and per and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (“PFAS”) in our nation’s waters.
The health risk of micro-plastic and PFAS to humans are not well enough researched, although very small doses of PFAS have been linked to cancer and immune system deficiencies. Resistance by industry sources has allowed the problem to proliferate without adequate documentation or response.
Headquartered in the state of Florida, Aquatic Environmental Initiative is ideally situated to observe, document and report on the scope of these problems in the Sunshine State. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization and seek volunteers to assist in documentation of pollution throughout the Sunshine State.
